# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups (240 g) self-rising flour or gluten-free alternative
02 - 180 ml milk, water, or plant-based milk

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C. In a large bowl, combine the self-rising flour and milk (or chosen liquid) until a soft dough forms.
02 - Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat it out to a round approximately 2.5 cm thick. Using a biscuit cutter or drinking glass, cut out rounds.
03 - Arrange the cut dough rounds on a baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the tops are golden and biscuits have risen.
04 - Optionally brush the tops with melted butter. Serve warm, accompanied by jam, gravy, or fried chicken as desired.
