Shrimp Crab Nacho Biscuit Melts (Print Version)

Buttery biscuits loaded with shrimp, crab, and cheese, baked for a warm, gooey snack.

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 can (8-count) refrigerated biscuit dough

→ Seafood Filling

02 - 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
03 - 1 cup lump crab meat

→ Cheese

04 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or cheese blend

→ Optional Garnish

05 - Jalapeño slices
06 - Chopped green onions

→ Preparation

07 - Oil or non-stick spray for baking sheet

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease or spray a baking sheet.
02 - Open the biscuit dough and gently flatten each biscuit with your hands or a rolling pin.
03 - In a bowl, mix the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
04 - Place a generous scoop of the seafood-cheese mixture onto the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold up the edges to enclose the filling, pinching to seal completely.
05 - Position the filled biscuits seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Top with jalapeño slices or chopped green onions as desired.
06 - Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cheese is melted.
07 - Remove from oven and let rest for one minute before serving warm.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, combine a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Be sure to thoroughly seal biscuit edges to prevent filling from leaking during baking.
