# Ingredients:

→ Mashed Potatoes

01 - 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and diced
02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - 1/4 cup whole milk
04 - Salt, to taste
05 - Ground black pepper, to taste

→ Cheese Sauce

06 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 1/4 cup whole milk
08 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

→ Buttered Corn

09 - 1 cup sweet corn kernels
10 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
11 - Salt, to taste
12 - Ground black pepper, to taste

→ Sausage

13 - 2 sausages, any variety (chicken, pork, or beef)
14 - 1 teaspoon olive oil

# Steps:

01 - Place diced potatoes in a large pot and cover with salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are fork-tender, approximately 15 minutes.
02 - Drain the cooked potatoes thoroughly. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper, then mash until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
03 - Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add corn kernels, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes until heated through.
04 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in milk and shredded cheddar cheese, whisking until smooth and creamy. Pour the finished sauce over the mashed potatoes.
05 - Slice sausages into bite-sized pieces. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook sausages until browned and crisp on the edges.
06 - Plate creamy mashed potatoes with cheese sauce, warm buttered corn, and slices of browned sausage. Serve immediately while hot.

# Notes:

01 - Warm all elements before serving for the best texture and flavor. Yukon gold potatoes may be substituted for a naturally creamy mash.
