Sausage Egg Cheese Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 680 g ground pork sausage
02 - 8 large eggs, scrambled

→ Bread

03 - 12 Hawaiian slider buns

→ Cheese

04 - 6 slices pepper jack cheese
05 - 8 slices American cheese

→ Glaze

06 - 115 g unsalted butter, melted
07 - 60 ml maple syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 175°C and allow it to preheat fully.
02 - Form ground pork sausage into 12 uniform patties, each slightly larger than the buns. Place patties into a large skillet over medium heat, cooking until thoroughly browned on both sides and fully cooked through.
03 - Slice the slider buns horizontally, ensuring the tops and bottoms remain connected as single units. Arrange the bottom halves in a 23 x 33 cm baking dish. Reserve the top halves for later assembly.
04 - Evenly distribute the scrambled eggs across the bottom buns, followed by a layer of pepper jack cheese slices. Place the cooked sausage patties evenly on top of the cheese, cover with American cheese slices, and then position the top buns over the fillings.
05 - In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and maple syrup until thoroughly mixed. Generously brush the glaze over the tops of the buns, allowing any excess to seep around the edges.
06 - Transfer the assembled sliders into the preheated oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and the tops are golden brown and crisp.
07 - Serve immediately while the sliders are hot.

# Notes:

01 - For an even melt, let the sliders rest for 2 minutes after baking before serving.
