Prosciutto Pickle Cream Cheese (Print Version)

Layers of prosciutto, pickle, and cream cheese grilled between crispy golden bread slices.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 2 slices sandwich bread
02 - 1 to 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
03 - 1/4 cup cream cheese, room temperature
04 - 2 slices prosciutto
05 - 1 thick dill pickle slice or 4 to 5 thin pickle coins

# Steps:

01 - Preheat a skillet over medium to medium-low heat until evenly warm.
02 - Spread a thin, even layer of softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
03 - Place one bread slice in the skillet, buttered-side down, and spread half the cream cheese over the exposed side.
04 - Layer the pickle slices and prosciutto evenly atop the cream cheese.
05 - Spread the remaining cream cheese on the unbuttered side of the second bread slice. Position this slice on top, buttered-side facing upward.
06 - Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, pressing gently, until the underside is golden brown. Flip and grill the opposite side for another 5 to 7 minutes until crisp and heated through.
07 - Transfer to a cutting board, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately while warm.

# Notes:

01 - Soften the butter for easier spreading and uniform browning during grilling.
