Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet to smooth the surface.

In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, grated Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is evenly blended.

Evenly spread the cheese and spinach filling over one half of the puff pastry sheet.

Fold the unused half of the puff pastry over the filling, pressing down gently to seal the edges. Cut the pastry into strips approximately 1 inch wide.

Gently twist each strip several times and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the tops of each pastry twist with beaten egg to promote a golden, glossy appearance when baked.

Transfer to oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until twists are puffed and golden brown.
