One Pan Sun Dried Tomato (Print Version)

Creamy one pan pasta with sun dried tomatoes, garlic, and parmesan. Quick, easy, and full of flavor.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
03 - 2 cups chicken stock or bone broth
04 - 1/2 cup half and half or whole milk, room temperature
05 - 1 jar (225 grams) sun-dried tomatoes in oil, oil drained
06 - 225 grams angel hair pasta
07 - 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
08 - 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened (optional, for extra creaminess)

→ Seasonings

09 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
10 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
11 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
12 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
02 - Pour in chicken stock, drained sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir to combine.
03 - Gradually pour in half and half or whole milk. Stir and bring to a gentle boil.
04 - Add angel hair pasta, letting it rest for 30 seconds to soften before submerging fully into the liquid.
05 - Let pasta cook in simmering liquid for about 5 minutes. Lower heat to a gentle simmer. If using, add cream cheese now and let it melt into the sauce.
06 - Continue cooking until the pasta is al dente and sauce has thickened. Sprinkle with grated parmesan. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed. For a looser sauce, add a splash of chicken stock or half and half as needed.

# Notes:

01 - Allow dairy to reach room temperature before adding to the pan to prevent curdling.
