Lemon Butter Baked Cod (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 4 (6 oz) cod fillets

→ Sauce Base

02 - 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
03 - 2 tbsp olive oil
04 - 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)

→ Seasonings

05 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 1 tsp lemon zest
07 - 1/2 tsp paprika
08 - 1/2 tsp dried thyme
09 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

→ Garnish

10 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
11 - Lemon slices, for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish
02 - Whisk together melted butter, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, zest, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper
03 - Place cod fillets in baking dish and coat evenly with lemon butter sauce
04 - Bake 12-15 minutes until cod is opaque and flakes easily with a fork
05 - Garnish with parsley and lemon slices before serving

# Notes:

01 - Works well with other white fish like haddock or tilapia
02 - Add red pepper flakes for a spicy version
