01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 14 ounces smoked sausage, sliced
03 - 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
04 - 1/2 medium onion, chopped
05 - 3 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
06 - 5 cups green cabbage, chopped
07 - 1 cup heavy cream
08 - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned on both sides, about 4–5 minutes. Transfer sausage to a plate and set aside.
02 - Reduce heat to medium. Add 2 tablespoons butter to the same skillet and swirl to melt. Add chopped onion and cook, stirring, until softened and translucent, about 3 minutes.
03 - Add remaining 4 tablespoons butter to the pan. Once melted, add chopped cabbage and toss to combine with onions. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning evenly over the mixture and toss well.
04 - Pour heavy cream over the cabbage. Stir, cover the skillet, and let simmer over medium-low heat until cabbage is tender, about 8–10 minutes.
05 - Uncover, add grated Parmesan cheese, and stir continuously until cheese is fully melted and sauce thickens, about 2–3 minutes.
06 - Return the browned sausage to the skillet. Toss until sausage is evenly coated with the creamy cabbage Alfredo and heated through. Serve immediately while hot.
