Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned on both sides, about 4–5 minutes. Transfer sausage to a plate and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. Add 2 tablespoons butter to the same skillet and swirl to melt. Add chopped onion and cook, stirring, until softened and translucent, about 3 minutes.

Add remaining 4 tablespoons butter to the pan. Once melted, add chopped cabbage and toss to combine with onions. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning evenly over the mixture and toss well.

Pour heavy cream over the cabbage. Stir, cover the skillet, and let simmer over medium-low heat until cabbage is tender, about 8–10 minutes.

Uncover, add grated Parmesan cheese, and stir continuously until cheese is fully melted and sauce thickens, about 2–3 minutes.

Return the browned sausage to the skillet. Toss until sausage is evenly coated with the creamy cabbage Alfredo and heated through. Serve immediately while hot.
