01 -
Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

                02 -
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a mixing bowl. Stir until evenly blended.

                03 -
Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a cohesive dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for several minutes until smooth.

                04 -
Roll out dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. Use a skull-shaped cookie cutter to cut even numbers of tops and bottoms.

                05 -
On half of the dough shapes, add a spoonful of pizza sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni slices, leaving a border for sealing.

                06 -
Cover each filled shape with a matching dough piece. Press edges together to seal and crimp with a fork if desired.

                07 -
Lightly brush the tops of each skull with beaten egg.

                08 -
Transfer assembled skulls to prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

                09 -
Remove from oven and allow to cool for several minutes before serving.
