Cheesy Sloppy Joe Toast (Print Version)

Ground beef, tangy tomato sauce, and cheddar cheese come together atop golden garlic toast slices.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 medium yellow onion, diced (approximately 4.2 ounces)
03 - 1 cup tomato sauce
04 - 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
05 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
06 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - 1/4 cup ketchup

→ Bread and Cheese

10 - 8 slices frozen garlic toast
11 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (approximately 4 ounces)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and diced onions; sauté until the beef is evenly browned and onions have softened. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
02 - Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly, reduce heat to low, and allow the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes to blend flavors.
03 - Arrange garlic toast slices evenly on a baking sheet. Spoon the beef mixture onto each slice, spreading it out evenly, then sprinkle liberally with shredded cheddar cheese.
04 - Place the baking sheet in a preheated 400°F oven. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the toast is heated through and the cheese has completely melted. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure excess fat is drained after browning the beef to prevent soggy bread and greasy texture.
