01 - 1 package Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
02 - 1 cup water
03 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
04 - 2 pounds ground beef
05 - 0.5 yellow onion, diced
06 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - Salt and pepper, to taste
09 - 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10.5 ounces each)
10 - 0.5 cup sour cream
11 - 0.25 cup butter, melted
12 - Cheddar Bay Garlic Herb Blend, for brushing

# Steps:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix, water, and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well blended and set aside.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until beef is thoroughly browned and no pink remains. Drain any excess fat.
03 - Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and remaining 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until evenly combined and smooth the surface of the meat mixture.
04 - Scoop biscuit mixture on top of the beef, creating 5 to 6 evenly spaced biscuits over the surface.
05 - Bake at 425°F for 20 to 30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
06 - Mix melted butter and Cheddar Bay Garlic Herb Blend in a small bowl. Brush the mixture over the baked biscuits before serving.
