# Ingredients:

→ Truffle Base

01 - 7 oz white chocolate
02 - 3.5 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 1 tablespoon orange zest
04 - 1 teaspoon orange extract
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 3 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
07 - Pinch of salt

→ Decoration

08 - Orange sanding sugar or melted white chocolate, for garnish (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Finely chop white chocolate and melt gently using a double boiler or in a microwave in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, orange zest, orange extract, vanilla extract, confectioners’ sugar, and a pinch of salt. Beat until the mixture is smooth and airy.
03 - Allow the melted white chocolate to cool briefly, then fold it into the cream cheese mixture until thoroughly blended.
04 - Transfer the mixture to the refrigerator and chill for 1 hour, or until it is firm but pliable.
05 - Using a small cookie scoop or your hands, portion and roll the chilled mixture into bite-sized balls.
06 - If desired, dip truffles in extra melted white chocolate or roll them in orange sanding sugar for an attractive finish.
07 - Refrigerate the decorated truffles for an additional 30 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Allowing the truffle mixture to chill adequately makes shaping easier and produces a smoother finish.
