Triple Cheese Bacon Melt (Print Version)

Bacon, three cheeses, and ranch dressing create a savory, gooey sandwich with a golden, buttery crust.

# Ingredients:

→ Bread and Cheese

01 - 8 slices thick-cut brioche bread or Texas toast
02 - 6 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
03 - 4 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, sliced
04 - 4 ounces Provolone cheese or Velveeta, sliced

→ Proteins and Condiments

05 - 8 strips bacon
06 - 4 tablespoons butter, softened
07 - 1/4 cup ranch dressing

→ Optional Add-Ons

08 - Sliced jalapeños
09 - Caramelized onions

# Steps:

01 - Allow cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Provolone cheeses to stand at room temperature for 15 minutes to enhance meltability.
02 - Arrange bacon strips on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes until crisp. Remove and set aside.
03 - Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-low heat.
04 - Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
05 - Place half the bread slices butter-side down onto the skillet. Layer each with cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Provolone slices. Top each with two strips of bacon, drizzle with ranch dressing, and add jalapeños or caramelized onions if desired. Place remaining bread slices on top, butter-side up.
06 - Cook each sandwich for 3 to 4 minutes per side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese melts completely.
07 - Remove sandwiches from heat, let rest one minute, then slice diagonally and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Let cheese come to room temperature before assembling to achieve a smooth, even melt.
