# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup pineapple juice
02 - 1/2 cup crushed pineapple with juice
03 - 1/2 cup rice vinegar
04 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
05 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
06 - 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
08 - 2 tablespoons cold water
09 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional

# Steps:

01 - In a medium saucepan, mix together pineapple juice, crushed pineapple with juice, rice vinegar, granulated sugar, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
02 - In a small bowl, stir the cornstarch and cold water together to create a smooth slurry. Gradually whisk the slurry into the simmering sauce and continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
03 - Remove the saucepan from the heat. Let the sauce cool slightly before serving as a dip, glaze, or drizzle.
