01 -
Brush all sides of a 10 to 12 inch cast iron skillet with olive oil. Fit one sheet of pizza dough into the skillet, trimming excess with kitchen scissors. Use the trimmed dough to fill any gaps along the sides, pressing to form an even crust.
02 -
Distribute half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the crust. Add cooked Italian sausage, sliced pepperoni, and crumbled bacon. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder evenly. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese for full coverage.
03 -
Place the second sheet of pizza dough over the filling. Trim any overhanging edges and discard. Seal the edges by pressing the dough together against the sides of the skillet.
04 -
Pierce the surface of the top crust several times with a sharp knife to allow steam to escape. Evenly spread the pizza sauce over the top crust.
05 -
Transfer the skillet to an oven preheated to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 40 to 50 minutes until the crust is golden and cooked through.
06 -
Remove from oven and let cool in the skillet for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and, if desired, top with fresh basil and crushed red pepper flakes before slicing and serving.
