Stuffed Crust Pizza Snacks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough and Cheese Filling

01 - 8 sticks string cheese
02 - 1 roll (14 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough

→ Seasoning and Topping

03 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
04 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
07 - 24 slices regular pepperoni
08 - Pizza sauce, for serving (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Set the oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat with nonstick cooking spray.
02 - Unwrap the string cheese and cut each stick into three equal pieces. In a small bowl, combine dried oregano, garlic powder, and grated Parmesan cheese.
03 - Open the roll of refrigerated pizza dough and unroll it onto a flat surface. Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to divide the dough into 24 even squares.
04 - Position one cheese piece in the center of each dough square. Carefully wrap and roll the dough tightly around the cheese, pinching the seams securely. Arrange the filled dough pieces seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Brush each dough roll liberally with melted butter. Sprinkle the Parmesan-oregano seasoning mixture evenly over the tops. Place one pepperoni slice onto each rolled snack, pressing gently to adhere.
06 - Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
07 - Remove from the oven and serve immediately with warm pizza sauce if desired.
