Strawberry Cheesecake Tart Puff (Print Version)

Flaky puff pastry meets creamy cheese and strawberry jam for a delightful tart with a golden crust.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
02 - 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk

→ Pastry

03 - 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

→ Topping

04 - 1/4 cup strawberry jam
05 - 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out thawed puff pastry into a rectangle. Using a sharp knife, gently score a border 1/4 inch from the edges without cutting through. Pierce the center inside the border all over with a fork to prevent over-puffing.
03 - Place the shaped pastry on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
04 - In a bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with sweetened condensed milk until completely smooth.
05 - Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the baked pastry within the border. Spoon strawberry jam over the top and gently swirl to marble. Brush heavy whipping cream on the border using a pastry brush.
06 - Return the tart to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 5–10 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Blind baking the pastry ensures a crisp crust that won’t become soggy after adding the cream cheese filling.
