11 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
12 - 1/4 cup tomato paste
13 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
14 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
15 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
16 - 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
17 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
18 - 1 cup chicken or seafood stock
19 - 1 teaspoon hot sauce, to taste
20 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
21 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Garnish and Serving

22 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
23 - Lemon wedges
24 - Cooked white rice, grits, or crusty bread

# Steps:

01 - Combine shrimp with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Set aside to marinate while the sauce is prepared.
02 - Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion, bell pepper, and celery. Sauté for 5 to 7 minutes until vegetables are tender. Add garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until aromatic.
03 - Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle in smoked paprika, cayenne, thyme, and oregano. Mix thoroughly.
04 - Pour in stock and Worcestershire sauce, deglazing the pan by scraping any browned bits from the bottom. Bring mixture to a simmer; incorporate hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Simmer 5 to 7 minutes, allowing the sauce to slightly thicken.
05 - In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear marinated shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side, turning until pink and opaque.
06 - Transfer the cooked shrimp into the sauce and simmer together for 1 to 2 minutes for flavors to meld.
07 - Spoon shrimp and sauce over white rice, grits, or crusty bread. Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Adjust the quantity of hot sauce and cayenne to tailor the spice level to personal preference.
