→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound large or jumbo shrimp, shelled and deveined
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
04 - 5 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 2 red chili peppers, chopped
06 - ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
07 - ½ teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
08 - ½ teaspoon black pepper, or to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Add the olive oil and butter to a large skillet and heat over high heat until the butter is melted and beginning to sizzle.
02 - Add the shrimp to the hot skillet and arrange them in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink, golden and slightly crispy on the edges.
03 - Flip the shrimp over and sear for another 2 minutes. Season this side with salt and pepper as well.
04 - Add the minced garlic, chopped chili peppers, and fresh parsley to the pan. Stir everything together, allowing the heat from the pan to release the flavors. Cook for just 30 seconds or until the garlic becomes fragrant - be careful not to burn it.
05 - Remove from heat and serve immediately while still warm. Enjoy on its own as an appetizer, over steamed rice for a meal, or alongside your favorite steamed vegetables.
