Easy Soy Hoisin Chicken Thighs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 lb skin-on bone-in chicken thighs

→ Marinade

02 - 4 tablespoon hoisin sauce
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 green onions, finely chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon regular soy sauce
06 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
07 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper or white pepper

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl, combine all marinade ingredients together. Pour it into a resealable container or ZipLock bag.
02 - Add chicken thighs into the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best flavor.
03 - Preheat the oven to 355°F. Transfer chicken thighs onto a baking sheet or baking dish lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Keep the marinade aside for basting.
04 - Bake for 35 minutes total, basting the chicken with the marinade every 10 minutes. Chicken is done when internal temperature reaches 165°F at the thickest part or juices run clear.
05 - Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, transfer remaining marinade to a small saucepan, bring to simmer on medium heat, then remove from heat. Serve this sauce as a glaze over the chicken thighs.

# Notes:

01 - This recipe makes juicy tender chicken thighs baked in a sweet and savory soy glaze, perfect for a busy weeknight family dinner
02 - Make sure to use hoisin sauce, not oyster sauce
