Smashburger Quesadillas Cheese Melt (Print Version)

Crispy tortillas filled with juicy beef, cheddar cheese, and all your favorite smashburger toppings.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 4 large flour tortillas
03 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or American cheese

→ Seasonings

04 - Salt, to taste
05 - Ground black pepper, to taste
06 - Garlic powder, to taste

→ Optional toppings

07 - Pickle slices
08 - Diced onions
09 - Burger sauce

# Steps:

01 - Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until hot.
02 - Press a small handful of ground beef directly onto one half of each flour tortilla, spreading evenly. Season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
03 - Place the tortilla beef side down onto the hot skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the beef is well browned.
04 - Flip the tortilla, sprinkle shredded cheddar or American cheese over the cooked beef, fold the tortilla in half, and gently press to seal.
05 - Continue grilling both sides of the quesadilla until the cheese is melted and the exterior is golden brown and crisp.
06 - Remove from the skillet, slice into wedges, and serve immediately with pickles, diced onions, or burger sauce if desired.

01 - For the crispiest quesadillas, use a cast iron skillet and avoid overcrowding the cooking surface.
