Juicy pork loin simmers with pineapple, brown sugar, and soy sauce for a sweet and savory main course.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1–1.4 kg pork loin, trimmed of excess fat
02 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
03 - Salt, to taste
04 - Black pepper, to taste
05 - 8 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 60 ml soy sauce
07 - 110 g brown sugar
08 - 1 can (670 g) pineapple chunks with juice

# Steps:

01 - Pat the pork loin dry and season all sides with salt and black pepper.
02 - Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork loin on all sides until golden brown, about 2–4 minutes per side.
03 - Transfer the seared pork loin to the slow cooker. Distribute minced garlic evenly over the pork.
04 - Pour soy sauce around the pork, add pineapple chunks with juice, and sprinkle brown sugar over the top.
05 - Cook on low for 4–6 hours for sliceable pork, or 8–10 hours for a more tender, shreddable consistency. Occasionally baste with the cooking juices.
06 - For shredded pork, remove the meat after the longer cooking time, shred with forks, return to the slow cooker, and cook on low for an additional hour.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, sear the pork well to develop a caramelized exterior before slow cooking.
