# Ingredients:

01 - 3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
04 - 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
05 - 1 cup chicken broth
06 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

07 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Arrange chicken breasts in an even layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.

04 - Secure the lid and cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the chicken is fully tender.
05 - Once cooked, remove the chicken and shred or thinly slice, then return it to the sauce inside the slow cooker.
06 - Stir in the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese until thoroughly melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
07 - Spoon the creamy chicken and sauce over hot pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes. Finish with chopped basil or parsley, if desired.
