01 - 8 slices of fresh baguette, about 1/2-inch thick
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 can King Oscar Brisling Sardines With Spicy Cracked Pepper, drained
04 - 2 tablespoons plain goat cheese
05 - 2 tablespoons plain cream cheese
06 - 4 sweet cherry peppers, sliced with stems removed
07 - Freshly cracked black pepper
08 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F so it's nice and hot when you're ready to toast the bread.
02 - Using a serrated bread knife, cut the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet.
03 - Brush each slice with olive oil using a pastry brush, then bake them for about 5-8 minutes until they just start turning golden. Remove and let them cool a bit.
04 - Combine the goat cheese and cream cheese in a small microwave-safe bowl. Heat for about 15 seconds until softened enough to stir together smoothly.
05 - Spread the softened cheese mixture evenly on each toast. Add a crack of fresh black pepper over the cheese, then top with slices of sweet cherry peppers and a sardine fillet.
06 - Sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley over the tops of your toast appetizers and serve immediately.
