                Pour root beer into a large measuring cup and refrigerate uncovered for 2 hours to allow carbonation to dissipate.

                Place vanilla ice cream in a medium mixing bowl and let sit at room temperature for 5 to 8 minutes, until slightly softened.

                Whisk the flat root beer into the softened ice cream until well blended and smooth.

                Pour the root beer and ice cream mixture evenly into popsicle molds. Insert popsicle sticks.

                Freeze the filled molds for at least 4 hours or until fully solid.

                Quickly run the exterior of the molds under warm water and carefully remove the popsicles. Store in freezer until serving.
