Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, scraping the pan to release browned bits.

Reduce heat to medium, incorporate sour cream into the pan and stir until smooth. Let sauce simmer gently for 5 minutes.

Arrange the seared chicken breasts in a baking dish, pour sauce evenly over the chicken, and top each with shredded Jack cheese. Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges are bubbling.
