05 - 60 g grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 115 g unsalted butter, melted
07 - 240 ml sour cream
08 - 1 can (approximately 300 g) cream of chicken soup
09 - 120 ml chicken broth
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Lightly grease a 23x33 cm baking dish.
02 - Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides evenly with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Arrange chicken in the prepared baking dish.

04 - Evenly spread sour cream over the chicken breasts in the dish.
05 - In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup and chicken broth until smooth. Pour this mixture over the chicken and sour cream layer.
06 - Sprinkle the prepared Ritz cracker mixture evenly over the top. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked and topping is golden brown.
07 - Allow casserole to rest for several minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - For even cooking, ensure chicken breasts are of uniform thickness. If necessary, gently flatten with a meat mallet before seasoning.
