Quick No-Knead Bread (Print Version)

Soft, golden bread made quickly without kneading. Enjoy fresh and warm, straight from the oven.

# Ingredients:

→ Dough Base

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

→ Wet Ingredients

05 - 3/4 cup whole milk
06 - 1/4 cup olive oil or melted unsalted butter

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
03 - Gradually add milk and olive oil or melted butter to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing to ensure a tender crumb.
04 - Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Pat into a round loaf approximately 6 inches in diameter.
05 - Using a sharp knife, score the top of the dough to allow even expansion during baking.
06 - Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
07 - Remove bread from oven and let cool briefly on a wire rack. Slice and serve while warm.

# Notes:

01 - For a richer flavor, substitute whole milk with buttermilk. Avoid overmixing to prevent a dense texture.
