Pumpkin Pie Stuffed Apples (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 medium apples, cored

→ Filling

02 - 1 cup pumpkin puree
03 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
04 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
05 - 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
06 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar

# Steps:

01 - Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking.
02 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and brown sugar. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is homogeneous.
03 - Place the cored apples upright in a baking dish.
04 - Spoon the pumpkin filling into the center cavities of each apple, pressing the mixture down gently to fill completely.
05 - Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until apples are tender yet hold their structure.
06 - Carefully remove the dish from the oven. Allow apples to cool slightly before serving.
