# Ingredients:

01 - 4 large portobello mushrooms
02 - 1 cup pizza sauce
03 - 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Toppings

04 - Assorted toppings of choice, such as sliced pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, or olives

→ Garnish & Seasoning

05 - Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Clean portobello mushrooms thoroughly, trimming stems as necessary. Arrange mushrooms gill side up on the prepared baking sheet.
03 - Lightly season each mushroom cap with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
04 - Spoon approximately 1/4 cup of pizza sauce into each mushroom cap, spreading evenly.
05 - Top each mushroom with shredded mozzarella cheese and arrange selected toppings as desired.
06 - Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, bubbling, and mushrooms are tender.
07 - Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and serve hot.
