Pizza Style Cottage Cheese Bake (Print Version)

Hearty cottage cheese bake topped with mozzarella, pepperoni, and parmesan. Perfect warm comfort food.

# Ingredients:

→ Dairy and Eggs

01 - 2 cups cottage cheese
02 - 3 large eggs
03 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Meat

05 - 1/2 cup mini pepperoni or large slices chopped

→ Seasoning

06 - Salt to taste
07 - Black pepper to taste

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or similar sized ovenproof dish.
02 - In a medium mixing bowl, whisk cottage cheese and eggs together until mixture is smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.
03 - Stir in half of the shredded mozzarella cheese and half of the grated Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed.
04 - Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it into an even layer with a spatula.
05 - Top casserole with the remaining mozzarella cheese, remaining Parmesan cheese, and distribute pepperoni evenly over the surface.
06 - Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until set and the top is golden brown.
07 - Allow the bake to cool for several minutes, then slice and serve while warm.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, drain excess liquid from the cottage cheese before mixing.
