→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
02 - 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
03 - 1 orange bell pepper, finely chopped
04 - 1 white onion, finely chopped
05 - 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
06 - 2 pounds ground beef
07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Black pepper, to taste
09 - 2 ounces cream cheese
10 - 3 tablespoons ketchup
11 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
12 - 2 teaspoons garlic powder
13 - 1/2 cup water
14 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
15 - 4 hamburger buns

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the green, red, and orange bell peppers along with the chopped onion. Sauté until vegetables are softened and fragrant, approximately 5–6 minutes. Remove vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
02 - Add ground beef to the same skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, breaking up the meat with a spatula, and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until beef is well-browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
03 - Return sautéed bell peppers and onion to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Stir in cream cheese, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and water. Mix thoroughly to combine. Continue to cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thickened and bubbling.
04 - Turn off the heat. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese over the mixture. Stir until the cheese is fully melted and evenly integrated. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and black pepper if needed.
05 - Evenly distribute the cheesesteak mixture onto toasted hamburger buns. If desired, garnish with additional shredded cheese before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal flavor, use freshly shredded cheese and toast the buns to enhance texture.
