01 -
Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange hoagie rolls or baguettes on a baking sheet.
02 -
In a small bowl, combine unsalted butter, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Evenly spread the garlic butter inside each roll.
03 -
Toast the prepared rolls in the preheated oven for 5 to 7 minutes until golden and crispy.
04 -
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced ribeye steak and cook, turning occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes until browned. Season with salt and black pepper.
05 -
Add sliced onion and, if using, bell pepper to the same skillet. Sauté for 5 to 7 minutes until softened and caramelized.
06 -
Add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce to the skillet. Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes, then remove skillet from heat.
07 -
Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the inside of each toasted roll.
08 -
Distribute steak, onion, and pepper mixture evenly onto each roll.
09 -
Layer provolone cheese over steak mixture. Return assembled sandwiches to oven for 3 to 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
10 -
Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
