Tender turkey, provolone, and fresh pesto melted in grilled buttery bread for a quick, satisfying bite.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 slices sandwich bread
02 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
03 - 2 ounces sliced deli turkey breast
04 - 1 slice provolone cheese or 2 ounces shredded provolone cheese
05 - 1 tablespoon basil pesto

# Steps:

01 - Heat a skillet over medium to medium-low heat until evenly warmed.
02 - Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice, ensuring full coverage.
03 - Place one bread slice butter-side down onto the skillet.
04 - Evenly spread pesto over the exposed top of the bread in the pan.
05 - Top the pesto with sliced turkey and provolone cheese.
06 - Place the second slice of bread on top with the buttered side facing up.
07 - Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip sandwich carefully and grill the other side for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until both sides are golden and the cheese is melted.
08 - Remove sandwich from skillet, slice as desired, and serve immediately while warm.
