# Ingredients:

→ For the Crackers

01 - 1 box (13.7 oz) buttery round crackers
02 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
03 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 30 to 40 small pepperoni slices or regular pepperoni cut in halves
05 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
07 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

→ For Garnish and Serving

09 - Fresh basil or parsley, finely chopped
10 - Extra Parmesan cheese for sprinkling
11 - Extra pizza sauce or marinara for dipping

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Place buttery round crackers in a single layer, flat side up, on the sheet.
02 - Spoon approximately 1/2 teaspoon of pizza sauce onto each cracker. Spread gently, leaving a narrow border around the edge. Avoid excess sauce to maintain crispness.
03 - Sprinkle a pinch of shredded mozzarella over the sauce on each cracker. Place one pepperoni slice per cracker. Add additional mozzarella or a touch of Parmesan on top as desired.
04 - Dust the tops with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and a light pinch of crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
05 - Transfer the baking sheet to the oven. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and beginning to brown. Monitor closely to prevent over-browning.
06 - Remove crackers from oven and cool for 2 to 3 minutes. Before serving, garnish with fresh chopped basil or parsley and sprinkle with extra Parmesan.
07 - Arrange on a platter and serve with warm pizza sauce or marinara for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Monitor closely in the final baking minutes as crackers toast quickly. For greater crispness, avoid overloading with sauce.
