Pepper Jack Crack Chicken (Print Version)

Tender chicken, bacon, Pepper Jack cheese, and green onions baked for a bold, comforting classic.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken tenderloins
02 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
03 - 16 ounces shredded Pepper Jack cheese

→ Flavor Additions

04 - 1/2 bunch green onions, diced
05 - 3 ounces crumbled bacon pieces
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1 teaspoon salt

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
02 - In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, half of the Pepper Jack cheese, half of the diced green onions, half of the bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until thoroughly blended and creamy.
03 - Arrange chicken tenderloins evenly in a greased 9 by 13 inch baking dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken.
04 - Top the chicken with remaining Pepper Jack cheese, reserved bacon, and green onions.
05 - Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through, reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit, and the cheese is bubbling.

# Notes:

01 - For even cooking, ensure chicken pieces are roughly the same thickness. Allow the dish to rest for a few minutes before serving to help set the cheese.
