Peanut Butter Cheesecake Donut (Print Version)

Chocolate donuts stuffed with creamy peanut butter filling and topped with a warm drizzled finish.

# Ingredients:

→ Donut Sandwiches

01 - 4 chocolate-glazed donuts
02 - 1/2 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
03 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
04 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1/2 cup crushed peanut butter cups (such as Reese's)

→ Peanut Butter Drizzle

07 - 1/4 cup peanut butter
08 - 2 tablespoons milk

# Steps:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy. Fold in crushed peanut butter cups. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
02 - Carefully slice each chocolate-glazed donut in half horizontally. Spread a thin, even layer of peanut butter on the cut side of each bottom donut half.
03 - Remove the chilled cheesecake filling from the refrigerator. Spoon or pipe a generous amount onto the peanut butter-coated bottom half of each donut. Place the top half of each donut back on to complete the sandwich.
04 - In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter and milk. Microwave for 15 to 20 seconds, then stir until smooth. Add a bit more milk if needed to reach a drizzle consistency.
05 - Drizzle the warm peanut butter mixture over the assembled donut sandwiches. Garnish with additional crushed peanut butter cups if desired. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For a firmer cheesecake filling, allow more chilling time as needed.
