# Ingredients:

→ Meat

01 - 6 to 8 slices bacon, chopped
02 - 1 pound ground beef

→ Produce

03 - 1 small onion, diced
04 - 3 to 4 garlic cloves, minced

→ Seasonings and Condiments

05 - 1 tablespoon burger seasoning
06 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon tomato paste
08 - 1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
09 - 1 teaspoon yellow or Dijon mustard

→ Canned Goods

10 - 8 ounces canned tomato sauce

→ Grains

11 - 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice

→ Liquid

12 - 2 1/4 cups beef broth

→ Cheese

13 - 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

# Steps:

01 - In a large pot over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until evenly crispy. Remove bacon and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
02 - Drain excess fat, leaving about 1 teaspoon of bacon grease in the pot. Add ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic. Sauté until beef is browned and onions are softened. Drain any remaining grease.
03 - Add the burger seasoning and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, allowing flavors to develop.
04 - Stir in the tomato paste and cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
05 - Add dill pickle relish, mustard, and tomato sauce. Mix thoroughly to combine.
06 - Stir in the uncooked rice and beef broth. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 18 to 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
07 - Remove pot from heat. Stir in 1 cup shredded cheese and the reserved bacon. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top, cover, and let stand for 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.

# Notes:

01 - Allow the rice to rest covered after adding cheese for optimal melt and creaminess.
