01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
03 - 1/2 cup ranch dressing
04 - 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
05 - 1/4 cup crispy fried onions
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - Evenly season chicken breasts with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
03 - In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing and barbecue sauce, blending thoroughly.
04 - Pour the ranch-barbecue sauce mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, ensuring full coverage.
05 - Generously sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over each sauced chicken breast.
06 - Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
07 - Remove from the oven and top each piece with crispy fried onions. Serve hot with an accompanying side.
