01 -
Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
02 -
In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with 3/8 teaspoon dried oregano, garlic powder, and kosher salt. Stir frequently until beef is browned throughout. Drain off any excess grease.
03 -
Allow cooked beef to cool briefly. Fold 1/3 cup pizza sauce into the beef until evenly coated.
04 -
Unroll pizza dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet with shallow sides.
05 -
Spoon 1/2 cup pizza sauce lengthwise down the center of the dough, leaving clear borders. Layer with provolone slices, pepperoni, beef mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
06 -
Slice dough border into 1-inch wide strips, cutting from the edge towards filling. Fold strips alternately over filling, creating a braid or lattice.
07 -
Brush surface of dough with melted butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and remaining dried oregano.
08 -
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
09 -
Warm remaining pizza sauce and serve on the side as a dip.
