01 - 2 pounds carrots, less than ½ inch thick, peeled
02 - 1 pound thin-sliced bacon
03 - ¼ cup maple syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F.
02 - Wrap one slice of bacon tightly around each carrot, starting at the thick end. Avoid overlapping the layers when wrapping the bacon.
03 - Arrange the bacon-wrapped carrots on a wire rack placed over a baking sheet.
04 - Bake the carrots for 25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the carrots are tender.
05 - Remove the carrots from the oven and carefully glaze all sides with the maple syrup.
06 - Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes.
