Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange bacon strips on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.

Combine brown sugar and 1/4 cup maple syrup in a bowl. Remove bacon from oven, brush both sides with maple mixture, and return to oven for another 15 minutes or until bacon is caramelized and crisp.

Transfer bacon to a plate lined with paper towels and allow to cool. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Once cooled, chop bacon into small pieces.

Unroll each cinnamon roll. Sprinkle some chopped bacon pieces inside each, reserving half for topping. Re-roll the dough and arrange rolls in a greased round cake pan.

Bake cinnamon rolls at 350°F (175°C) as instructed on packaging, until risen and golden brown.

In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon roll frosting with 1 tablespoon maple syrup. Stir until smooth.

Spread maple glaze over warm rolls. Top with reserved chopped bacon and serve immediately.
