03 - 1 cup packed brown sugar

# Steps:

01 - Cut bacon strips crosswise into thirds, ensuring even pieces for wrapping.
02 - Tightly encase each little smoked sausage with a piece of bacon and position seam-side down in a 13 x 9 inch glass baking dish.
03 - Distribute brown sugar evenly over the wrapped sausages, forming a light coating.
04 - Cover the dish and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
05 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Uncover and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and sugar is richly caramelized.
