# Ingredients:

01 - 4 slices bacon
02 - 4 green onions, chopped
03 - 1 head leaf lettuce, rinsed, dried, and torn into bite-sized pieces

# Instructions:

01 - Place bacon slices in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook, turning occasionally, until evenly browned and crisp, about 10 minutes. Transfer bacon to paper towels to drain and crumble into pieces; set aside.
02 - Add chopped green onions to the bacon drippings in the skillet. Sauté, stirring constantly, until onions are softened to your preference, about 1 minute.
03 - Arrange torn lettuce pieces in a large serving bowl. Pour the hot sautéed onions and bacon grease over the lettuce and toss lightly to coat.
04 - Top the tossed lettuce with reserved crumbled bacon and serve while warm.
