Keto Feta Burgers Tomato Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 lbs ground beef
02 - 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
03 - 1 egg
04 - 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
05 - 2 tsp garlic, minced
06 - 2 tbsp beef stock
07 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream
08 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
09 - 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
10 - 2 tbsp tomato paste
11 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, feta cheese, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix with hands until well blended.
02 - Form the meat mixture into 14 equal-sized patties.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties until they reach your desired level of doneness, working in batches if necessary depending on skillet size.
04 - Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside. Drain excess grease from the pan.
05 - Lower the temperature to medium. Add beef stock to the pan and deglaze by scraping the flavorful bits from the bottom of the pan.
06 - Whisk in heavy whipping cream, Italian seasoning, chopped green onions and tomato paste until well combined.
07 - Add salt and pepper to taste, and simmer until the sauce has thickened.
08 - Return the patties to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
09 - Serve hot with additional freshly chopped green onions as garnish if desired.
