# Ingredients:

→ Sandwich Components

01 - 2 jalapeños, sliced lengthwise, seeds and membranes removed
02 - 4 ounces cream cheese
03 - 4 slices bacon, crispy cooked
04 - 2 slices Monterey Jack cheese
05 - 2 slices sharp cheddar cheese
06 - 4 slices Italian bread
07 - Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
08 - Butter, for grilling

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Stuff each jalapeño half with approximately 30g (1 ounce) of cream cheese. Bake stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet for 25-30 minutes until tender. Remove from oven.
02 - Place 1 slice of cheddar cheese on 2 bread slices. Place 1 slice of Monterey Jack on the other 2 bread slices. Slice the cooked stuffed jalapeños into bite-size pieces and divide them between the 2 slices of bread with cheddar. Add 2 slices of bacon to each slice of bread with Monterey Jack. Sprinkle chopped cilantro on one side if desired. Combine the slices to form 2 complete sandwiches.
03 - Place several pats of butter on top of each sandwich. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and place sandwiches butter side down. Add more butter to the top side. Grill each side until lightly browned and the cheese is completely melted and gooey, about 3-4 minutes per side.

# Notes:

01 - For extra heat, leave some jalapeño seeds intact. For a milder sandwich, ensure all seeds and membranes are removed.
