Honey Hot Chicken Salad (Print Version)

Crisp romaine, spicy honey chicken, and fresh veggies tossed with creamy dressing.

# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 2 cooked chicken breasts, diced

→ Sauces

02 - 1/4 cup honey garlic sauce
03 - 1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce or plain hot sauce (such as Frank's Red Hot)

→ Vegetables

04 - 2 heads romaine lettuce, chopped and washed
05 - 1/2 medium red onion, diced
06 - 1 large red bell pepper, diced
07 - 1/2 large cucumber, diced

→ Dressing

08 - 3 to 6 tablespoons ranch dressing or dressing of choice

→ Cheese (optional)

09 - Shredded cheese, such as cheddar (optional)

# Steps:

01 - In a small bowl, toss diced cooked chicken with honey garlic sauce and buffalo wing sauce until the pieces are fully coated.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce with ranch dressing or preferred dressing; toss thoroughly for even distribution.
03 - Divide the dressed romaine between two servings. Distribute diced red onions, bell pepper, cucumber, and shredded cheese (if using) over the greens.
04 - Spoon the sauced chicken on top of each salad and serve immediately while the chicken is warm.

# Notes:

01 - For best texture, assemble just before serving to prevent the lettuce from wilting.
