11 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
12 - 2 tablespoons honey
13 - Juice of 1/2 lemon

14 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

# Steps:

01 - Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season evenly on both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, dried oregano, and smoked paprika.
02 - Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden and just opaque throughout. Transfer fillets to a warm plate.
03 - Reduce the heat to medium. In the same pan, sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly. Stir in soy sauce and honey. Add the lemon juice and mix until well combined.
04 - Return the salmon fillets to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over each fillet. Simmer for 1 minute to glaze the salmon. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Allow salmon to come to room temperature before cooking to ensure even searing.
