Honey Cranberry Chicken Bake (Print Version)

Golden chicken, brie, and cranberries with honey baked in sourdough for a savory, satisfying pull-apart dish.

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1 sourdough loaf, sliced into 1 inch pieces
02 - 1 cup cranberries, fresh or dried
03 - 8 ounces brie cheese, cut into small cubes
04 - 3 tablespoons honey
05 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (optional)
07 - Pinch of salt

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a medium baking dish.
02 - Using a sharp knife, cut the sourdough loaf into cubes, leaving the base intact to maintain loaf shape.
03 - Gently insert the cubed brie cheese and cranberries between the bread pieces, distributing them evenly throughout the loaf.
04 - Place the filled loaf in the prepared baking dish. Evenly drizzle melted butter and honey over the loaf, allowing it to seep into the bread.
05 - Sprinkle chopped fresh thyme and a pinch of salt across the top for added aroma. Cover the loaf with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 minutes more, until golden and cheese is melted.
06 - Let the baked loaf rest for 5 minutes before serving. Pull apart slices and enjoy a balanced blend of textures and flavors.

# Notes:

01 - Using day-old sourdough enhances texture and helps the bread hold its shape during baking.
